Hello - I see a few guys fishing to the NW of the narrows today...appear to be on foot no sleds etc. I can't beleive there isn't a single shack on the lake and its almost Feb. What a strange winter. Well time will tell, I am planning to go to camp Feb 10 for some sledding and fishing. Thanks a million for keeping the web cams operational...saves us natives living out of state from driving 12 hours and getting a suprise! Think snow and cold!

I don't think there won't be any ice fishing or snowmobiling this year! Very mild winter that the northeast is having this year. There's only a few more months left until winter is done. Go New England Patriots in the Super Bowl!!! From Stamford,Connecticut! I vacation there on the lake previous summer years.

8 inches of good ice a little west of Greeley's Landing where Mikes camera is located. 10 inches of new snow wont help the ice making and some areas are slushy already even before the rain has arrived. Not sure about the Narrows and above... seems everyone is being cautious for good reason because there are no ice shacks in the narrows yet.
